DIMONT Automates Processing of Insurance Claims on Repossessed Vehicles for Auto Lenders

NEWS RELEASE

DALLAS, October 4, 2016 – DIMONT, the largest provider of specialty insurance and loan administration solutions to the residential and commercial financial services industries, today announced that it has expanded its proprietary claims platform, Eldorado, to include the processing of auto insurance claims on vehicles for auto lenders.

Eldorado has been developed and optimized over the past 10 years to streamline claims processing, minimize claims timelines and maximize recoveries for hazard insurance claims.  While leveraging Eldorado’s core claims processing technology, DIMONT is now able to incorporate the unique processes and data elements related to auto claims into a fully functional claims management system for the auto insurance industry.

With an expedited claims process, the vehicles are available for auction sooner, which minimizes additional delays and losses to auto lenders. DIMONT identifies potential claims and files for damages with the appropriate insurance carrier, and includes GAP Claims management that allows a team of experts to review total loss claims and ensure the maximum recovery is received.

The system is expected to streamline the auto insurance claims processes, just as DIMONT has done within the hazard claims industry over the last twenty years.  With this technology, auto lenders will receive better reporting and potentially higher returns from filed claims.

“We are now able to leverage our expertise in the residential and flood insurance industries in order to provide auto lenders an easy and cost-effective  insurance claims process specifically for repossessed automobiles,” said Rick Lewellen, director of sales at DIMONT. “We are looking forward to processing more auto claims and better serving our growing client base.”
